Our last day, so we headed back to Norfolk. Norwich was lucky enough to be the last dot on our route map! When we arrived we were greeted by staff from the World Land Trust who had set up their stand in the Forum. We spent a couple of hours with them, chatting to people, having our photo taken and spreading the word.  We then went for a wander of the streets of Norwich, distributing literature and having photos with new friends and big sites!! For our final day, it was a very exciting to meet so many friendly people, it is just a shame that it has to come to an end!

This morning we headed to Kent, to Demelza House, an 8 bedded  childrens hospice in Sittingbourne.  Demelza House provides respite, sympton control and end-of-life care and bereavement support.  The hospice has raised £1115.15 through Everyclick. We had our photos taken with some of the staff before meeting a few of the children and admiring their artwork! We then headed back up to Norfolk to prepare for our last day of the mouse tour!

After a long drive down to Guildford we arrived at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre where we met the fundraising staff from the theatre.  It is one of only two theatres left in the South East that creates its own work.  The Theatre has raised £694.09 through Everyclick with 25 supporters.  We had our photo taken outside the theatre, at the bar, by the river and investigated what shows were on at the box office. The afternoon was spent wandering around the town and visiting the castle, spreading the Everyclick word.

This morning we ventured down to the Sheringham beach on the North Norfolk coast where we visited the lifeboat house and saw the lifeboat and the tractor that pulls it down into the sea when a call out is made. The RNLI have raised a total of £381.98 through Everyclick and following the mice’s visit to the Sheringham branch we hope that it will raise much much more!

This morning we visited the Age Concern shop in Ipswich, we had our photos taken in the shop and with the volunteers working that day, we then headed into the town centre, handing out leaflets, stickers and balloons, ensuring that lots more people are aware of the benefits of using Everyclick.com as their search engine!

What a day today was! We spent the morning at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park which was set up by the late John Aspinall with the aim of protecting and breeding rare and endangered species and returning them to safe areas in their native homeland. We met both tigers and lions and despite them all being bigger and a lot stronger than the mouse, we held our nerve! We then travelled north to visit Charles Storer, the co-founder of Hope and Aid Direct, a humanitarian aid charity whose team members raise their own funds, obtain donations of aid, transport that aid in convoys of lorries twice a year, and give it out directly into the hands of the people who need it the most. We had our photos taken with Charles at his home in Ingatestone to publicise both Everyclick and Hope and Aid Direct.

Travelling down to the South Coast we had a fantastic morning on the pier with Maisie also known as David Raven who is one of Sussex Beacon’s patrons and long-term supporters.  We also met the guys who are going to take part in a skydive to raise money for Sussex Beacon, in October when about 25 people will be jumping from 10,000 ft.  We had our photos taken on the pier, and on the beach before heading to their shop which is being renovated where we had another photo shoot.  After lunch we made our way back down to the pier where we handed out more leaflets, spreading the Everyclick word.

After a horribly traffic filled journey down to Essex we arrived at the Hervey Shopping Centre in Harlow where the mice met people from the charity ‘Toast’, which aims to raise the issues of obesity as a matter to be taken seriously. We then wandered round the shopping mall meeting loads of new people and ensuring that more and more people are being made aware of Everyclick and will be using it to help raise funds for charities such as Toast!

We started off today on the North Norfolk Coast, visiting people from the Rainbow House in Sheringham, who were all very pleased to see the big blue mouse! We then headed into town to visit their ‘Break’ charity shop and had photographs outside the shop and behind the tills with the volunteers. After lunch we drove down the coast, thankfully making it through the flooded country roads, to Lowestoft where we had a very entertaining afternoon sailing on the boats at Oulton broad, waving at passing boats and handing out literature.

After our long journey back to Norfolk we started early, visiting a kids zone group, The Benjamin Foundation.  There we joined the children for some fun and games. Mice aren’t that good at table football, but we did enjoy the Giant Connect 4 – even more so when we won! We gave out balloons and stickers which went down well. The staff had run a drawing competition for the children - who could draw the best big blue mouse!  We were given the honour of chosing a winner – Natalie.
